We open our Spring 2011 concert season with Lynn Hollyfield, a contemporary folk singer/songwriter from the DC area. With her exceptional voice and guitar accompaniment, Lynn will sing and play her way into your soul.

Lynn has played music in the Washington, DC area since the early 90's. Early performances were as part of the female duo, Hollyfield and Spruill. The two started performing at the Cafe Florian, hosted by Grace Griffith. Two recordings later (Slipping Time and Blue & Green) won the duo multiple WAMMIE nominations. Lynn's songwriting has been acknowledged by placing as a finalist in several of the Mid-Atlantic Songwriting Contests (MASC).
