Healing is the frame of mind which Robin Wall Kimmerer carries throughout Braiding Sweetgrass, and she envisions when even the cannibal monster Windigo–which only hungers and consumes–can be redeemed. A radical vision of love and interconnected well being is required for this profound vision, and I will discuss some scenarios that are undoubtedly frustrating, infuriating, and which may seem hopeless, but through a powerful persistence of nurturing energy, can nonetheless be transformed and healed.
