The Japanese sun goddess myth with the shaman’s mirror being so important for Amaterasu’s power to shine, gives us a theme of how we need to have friends who mirror back to us who we really are to them.  Who do you have that’s able to be the enabling mirror for your true self to shine?

We’ll use our “Tree of Life” Maypole for our shaman’s dance to celebrate the sun’s nurturing rays in these lengthening daytimes.
