I usually ask a lot of tough questions about traditional belief. Today I will try to ask tough questions about disbelief. The case for atheism has some weaknesses. Many of us often think about religion and “irreligion” in our inner dialogues. Philosophers make those thoughts more explicit and compare one with another. Academic philosophy of religion is, for me, not some abstract game, but parallels our everyday thinking about the meaning of life.
