One day a year we here in the US are reminded that our planet deserves a day of its own: Earth Day. Holy truths may be uncomfortable truths. How does our relationship to our precious planet really affect us? What does this have to do with our spiritual selves? Why might our greatest teachers in this time of Earth-peril be those from shamanic cultures?
Rev. Ellen Dionna is a lifelong UU. She is a psychotherapist and professional spiritual guide. She was ordained by the Church of Spiritual Science after completion of a two year formational program in the Art of Spiritual Guidance. She is a member of the UU Society of Community Ministers and the UU Spiritual Directors Network. Ellen maintains a private practice in both professions. She is the author of SPIRITUAL SAMPLER: ILLUMINATING INNER WISDOM and is currently working on a book for use with personal retreat based on her collection spiritual essays. She has been married for 47 years to retired UU minister, Rev. Arthur Hover.
