Planapalooza for Theme-Based Church

Next year, our church will be exploring a year-long religious question through a closer look at a series of monthly religious themes.  Rev. Megan's worship services will be linked to a monthly covenant group where congregants will get to really dive into the question.  But what will the themes be? In January Rev. Megan spent a week in a ministerial continuing education class taught by Rev. Scott Tayler, co-senior Minister of the First Unitarian Church of Rochester, New York.  Rev. Tayler says his church has developed a mission that can save the world and the people inside his congregation.  Come see what you think about it.

Rebecca Loebe, Sugarloaf Coffeehouse

Sugarloaf Coffeehouse presents award-winning, nationally renowned singer/songwriter Rebecca Loebe from Austin, Texas. Rebecca has "an absolutely stunning voice" that will blow you away. She was praised by Adam Levine and Christina Aguilera, as a contestant on the first season of NBC's reality TV show The Voice. She is refreshingly candid and witty in her songwriting and storytelling. And she is the daughter of SCUU member Cecilia Bonfils.

Doors open at 7 PM, open mic at 7:15, concert starts at 8. Suggested donation: $12 in advance / $15 at the door. Refreshments included! For more information and ticket sales visit the SCUU website. Goddess gathering with drumming and chanting
