Located in Germantown, Maryland, the Sugarloaf Coffeehouse presents musical performances of both touring musicians and local artists.

A high energy, acoustic World Beat / Contemporary Folk Duet, with guitar, djembe drum and passionate vocal harmonies, featuring the multiple WAMMIE (Washington Area Music Award) winning vocalist, Rachel-Ann Cross and the multiple WAMMIE award winning instrumentalist, Jaqui MacMillan. The duet was nominated for a 1998, 1999 & 2000 Washington Area Music Award in the category, "Best Contemporary Folk Duo" and a 2000 WAMMIE for "Best World Music Duo". They were also chosen as one of the Top 20 Female Acoustic Acts in the Mid-Atlantic region by the 1999 Lilith Fair Talent search. Rachel & Jaqui are known for their fun stage presence and for encouraging their audiences to participate in the joy of the music!
