Nominated for a 2001 Boston Music Award, twenty-four-year-old
singer-songwriter Josh Ritter is a rising star with a remarkable
talent. Josh, who has been performing since 1995 and touring extensively
in New England, the Midwest and lately in Ireland, recently released
his second album to critical acclaim. He has been featured on National
Public Radio's "Hear and Now" program, and as "Album of the Issue"
in Event Guide magazine. He plays to standing-room-only crowds in
Boston and New York. Sugarloaf Coffeehouse is proud to present Josh's
first performance in the Washington area.
